About Arataka Reigen
A fake psychic with a real eye for people
Reigen runs Spirits and Such Consultation Office and calls himself a psychic, though he has no supernatural powers. When clients come in, he leans on quick observation and confident talk to handle their problems. The setup makes him a comic con artist, but it also gives him a more grounded skill: he can often read what a person needs before Mob can.
His partnership with Mob keeps that contradiction in view. Reigen sends his young assistant into dangerous supernatural work, yet also becomes the adult Mob turns to while trying to understand his own powers and ordinary teenage life. Their relationship is funny because Reigen is a fraud, and touching because his advice can still matter.
