Hitori Goto

Hitori Gotoh, better known as Bocchi, is Kessoku Band’s lead guitarist: a seriously talented player who finds talking to people and performing in front of them much harder than practicing alone. She began playing because the idea of shining in a band appealed to her, then spent years building her skills in private.

When she finally gets pulled into a real band, her anxious imagination turns everyday conversations into comic worst-case scenarios. Bocchi the Rock! follows both sides of her—the gifted guitarist and the shy teenager—while she slowly learns how to make music with other people.
