Jack Howl

He has a stoic personality and is constantly dedicated to self-improvement. True to his wolf-like appearance—reflecting the species' tendency to form hierarchical packs—he values rank and order; however, he dislikes congregating in groups and refuses to submit to anyone weaker than himself, demonstrating a meritocratic mindset. He respects strong, capable upperclassmen, such as Leona and Riddle. He prefers fair, honorable contests and may show anger toward opponents who resort to underhanded tactics. He is also diligent in his studies, consistently earning high marks on tests through genuine effort. Furthermore, he maintains a routine of going to bed at 10:00 PM (a habit that surprised others, like Ace, who exclaimed, "Are you serious?"). He is a member of the Track and Field Club and excels at athletics, fitting the mold of a Savanaclaw student. He possesses a notably muscular physique, even compared to fellow dormmates like Leona and Ruggie. He is skilled at Magift, though Ruggie notes that his playstyle tends to be overly individualistic. In fact, back when he was a new student visiting clubs, he frowned when Ruggie tried to sell him on the appeal of Magift as a team sport (Ruggie still regrets failing to recruit him at that time). Members of the wolf beastman race are said to love only one person in their lifetime—a trait reflected in how his grandparents and parents always did things like eating and walking together. Because he has no interest in being liked by just anyone (mirroring the behavior of real-world wolves), Ace and the others have described his approach to affection as "heavy." He also has a younger brother (five years his junior) and a younger sister (nine years his junior).
