About Mai Shibamura
An all-around genius with exceptional skills in information processing and programming, she bears the epithet "Electronic Shrine Maiden Queen." As the youngest princess of the Shibamura clan—a family that controls the world—she speaks with a dignified and distinctive air. Because of her lineage and an attitude that is easily misunderstood, ordinary people keep their distance and sometimes even loathe her; however, she is completely unbothered by this, declaring, "I would choose a world where anyone can speak their mind freely over one where no one can say a thing." She is a person of unpretentious, sturdy character who speaks her mind frankly. Possessing unparalleled courage and spirit, she embodies the kind of person who would risk their life—and even die—for the sake of justice and kindness, even though she herself never uses those words. As a young lady of high status, she is naive about the ways of the world; having been fed various lies by her unpleasant father, she can sometimes display shocking ignorance. She also secretly loves cute things, such as cats.
