Spike Spiegel

Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter who drifts through the solar system chasing jobs with the crew of the Bebop. He moves through danger with a loose, almost sleepy confidence, but his quick reflexes and sharp fighting skill say otherwise.

That contrast gives him much of Cowboy Bebop’s cool, dry humor: Spike can look as if nothing matters, then spring into action the moment a bounty turns messy. He is a man of few explanations, happiest when the next meal or payday is close, though the past he avoids keeps tugging at the edges of his new life.
